February 2010
Hello Friends of Marble Quarry RV Park!
The wind has been blowing and rain has been coming down, here in Columbia. Some adventurous souls have been enjoying this experience. Soon, the sun will shine, and the trees will leaf out. The California Buckeyes, the first to go dormant in the Fall, will be the first to do so. Their buds should begin to push about the middle of February.
Can you believe, Spring is almost here! We will be celebrating the birth of Lincoln and Washington on the weekend of February 12th - 15th.
Reservations are filling fast, please call soon.
And remember, Feb 14th is Valentines Day. Bring your sweetheart up and celebrate. There are some great places to eat.

A word about our winters: when the fog cloaks the Valley, the ceiling is usually at about 1,700'. We are located at 2,200' - come up and enjoy the sunshine. The snow level usually does not fall below 3,000'. The Columbia Basin sits 400' higher than Sonora & 500' higher than the entrance to Moaning Cavern. This a most unique place - come see us!
