Pet Policies

 We are family oriented!  We realize that your pet is part of the family.  Fully 80% of our guests bring their pet with them.  The most common pet is the family dog.  We ask that your pet help us: click here for your dogs agreement to help us.

We do not charge extra for pets.   That is not only cheaper than boarding your pet, but it helps with family bonding.  We believe that family camping is one of the best ways for the family to feel "togetherness".

Upon check-in, let us know that you have the family dog with you, and we will give you a "doggie treat" care package.  Also, we have located in strategic places through out the park, doggie "poop bag" dispensers.  They are free! 

Currently, we recommend that you take your dog (on a leash) on the trail to the quarry or to town.  If your dog is "off leash", there is the possibility that a local deer might appear and tempt your dog to give chase.  That’s a "no-no".

If you choose to rent one of our cabins, we ask that you bring your pet’s favorite "blanket" along to lie on.  If you forget the blanket, we have pet blankets to rent.  We ask for a refundable cash deposit (can be a credit card number) to cover any damages or missing items discovered at check-out.  Pet hairs on our bedding would be considered damage, to prevent the refund of the deposit. 

 Please come, and bring the family pet along, but also use common sense and consideration to help us, and future guests.
